Director’s Biography:

Bassma Farah Nancy is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker with a BA in Art Direction for Cinema and Theater from Helwan University. A graduate of Jesuit Cairo Film School, she is also a producer, editor, actor, singer, and co-founder of Magic Eye Productions. She served as Media Production Manager at the 2024 Cairo International Film Festival. Her short film “Sushi with Kebda” won awards for Best Actor and Best Sound Design in 2020. Her latest film, “V’s Secret”—produced by Jesuit Cairo and distributed by Magic Eye—has won 6 international awards and screened at over 20 festivals worldwide, including Durban, Salerno, Fespaco, and the Hollywood Arab Film Festival.
