1 Day Workshop

A practical hands on, fun, educational day in which the students practice the process of filmmaking by being divided into teams who take turns in visiting different stations & play educational games, where they see and practice a part of the filmmaking process.

3 Days Cinema camp

A more detailed program which digs deeper in the filmmaking process giving the students a chance to learn more details about the art of cinema for two days and on the third day they get to practice all what they learned in a short film that they make on their own.

Yasmin Naeem

Head of Take 1 Academy

Yasmin’s journey began with a deep-rooted passion for understanding the human mind and behavior. She pursued a rigorous academic path, earning diplomas in mental health psychology, children’s upbringing psychology, acting, life coaching, and people management psychology to gain a thorough understanding of the human psyche.
Developing generations of well-balanced children and teenagers, using her knowledge and expertise, is an important mission for her.

Fady Farid Shawky

Artistic Director of Take 1 Academy

Fady graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in 2009. Since 2020, he has been dedicated to studying cinema, participating in various screenwriting and directing workshops. He wrote the short film Raneem and has extensively self-studied the art of filmmaking. With a strong foundation in drama education and theater, Fady brings a wealth of experience as both a drama teacher and a director, as well as having served as an assistant director on multiple projects.
